It is hard to believe that 22 years have passed since Ronnie Peterson died, following a multi-car pile up at the start of the Italian Grand Prix. This accident was a milestone in Formula One safety, and despite the tragic loss of one of the greatest drivers of the Seventies, many good things happened in the aftermath of the accident. There is no proper text in the book. Each year in Ronnie's racing life get a chapter and a brief summary. Bu the legends to the photos do the trick: they are extremely informative (without being boring) and make a compelling read. In my opinion, this is the best book available, in /5(10). Memories of Ronnie Peterson was put together by Joakim Thedin and Tomas Hägg as a tribute to Ronnie’s fans. This book follows a similar format to the other similarly titled “Memories of” driver books on Ayrton Senna and James Hunt by Christopher Hilton although those books are not from the same publisher series/5.
